Joel Huener is a retired waterfowl biologist, hunter, fisherman, outdoor enthusiast and woodcarver. In addition to creating beautifully handcrafted working decoys, he also creates detailed photo-realistic carvings, small animal carvings and even Christmas decorations.

In his free time, Joel can be found hunting with his black lab, fishing with his family, playing with his grandchildren or carving.
